BENTON, Ky. – The FLW Walleye Tour kicked off its 2010 season with an Eastern Division tournament on the Detroit River in Trenton, Mich., and will soon host its first Western Division tournament on the Mississippi River in Red Wing, Minn., May 20-22. Every tournament features a top pro award of $43,000, including a $10,000 Ranger Cup bonus and an $8,000 Evinrude contingency bonus. Top co-angler awards are $7,500, including a $2,500 Ranger Cup bonus. Entry fees are $750 per tournament for pros and $250 per tournament for co-anglers. Awards are based on a 150-boat field.

The top 20 pros and co-anglers from the final point standings in each division plus the top 10 pros and co-anglers who fished all six tournaments but did not qualify in either the Eastern or Western division will advance to the no-entry-fee 2010 FLW Walleye Tour Championship on Leech Lake in Walker, MN, where pros will fish for a top award of $40,000 and co-anglers will fish for a top award of $12,000.
