MINNEAPOLIS – Country music star and songwriting sensation Lee Brice will release his debut album, “Love Like Crazy,” June 8. When Brice performed a free concert at the inaugural National Guard FLW College Fishing Championship in April, the title song from the album was already climbing the country singles chart. Brice spent the winter putting the finishing touches on his first full-length album and opening for country music superstar Clay Walker. Brice’s recent hit single “Love Like Crazy,” from his debut, is far from his first brush with the country music charts. His first Top 30 hit came in 2007 with “She Ain’t Right” and was followed by the hit singles “Happy Endings” and “Upper Middle Class White Trash.”
Considered one of the most promising new voices in country, Brice is also proving himself as one of Nashville’s top songwriters. He has penned cuts for greats such as Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton and Adam Gregory. Most impressively, Brice wrote “More Than a Memory,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard chart, for the musical icon he considers his first major musical influence: Garth Brooks.
Brice stars in a music video for “Love Like Crazy,” the first single from his debut, which can be seen on FLWOutdoors.com among many other media outlets. Those interested may pre-order the album “Love Like Crazy” via iTunes ahead of the in-store release date of June 8.
