In an ongoing effort to provide as much interaction between world-class anglers and fishing fans as possible, FLWOutdoors.com has announced the 46th installment of FLW Live Reel Chat. On Wednesday, June 15, at 1 p.m. Central time (2 p.m. EDT), visitors to FLWOutdoors.com will be able to correspond directly with Chevy pro Luke Clausen, the 2011 FLW Tour Potomac River winner, in a special live chat-room format.

Chevy pro Luke Clausen picked up his third FLW Outdoors career win and $125,000 June 5 when he came from behind to win the Walmart FLW Tour event on the Potomac River.

With nearly $1.3 million in career earnings in FLW tourneys, the Otis Orchards, Wash., pro is one of the most successful bass fishermen competing today. In addition to his recent Tour win, Clausen is also a past winner of the coveted Forrest Wood Cup; he was crowned champion in 2004 on Logan Martin Lake in Alabama.

Chat directly with Clausen

Clausen will be available to chat with fishing fans Wednesday, so submit your questions early and don’t forget to tune in June 15 at 1 p.m. CDT to find out how he responds or to interact directly.

Participation in the upcoming chat is simple. At the start of the next live chat on June 15, visitors can log on at 1 p.m. Central and interact directly with Clausen or simply watch the chat unfold. As always, FLW Outdoors fishing fans may submit questions immediately that will be answered during the FLW Live Reel Chat.

During the chat, people will be able to ask Clausen about his recent victory at the Potomac River, inquire what it’s like to have a career as a professional bass angler, pose tips-and-technique questions or anything else that comes to mind. Again, visitors to FLWOutdoors.com are able to log on and submit questions in advance of the scheduled chat in order to have the first shot at getting their questions answered. It’s also a great way to participate if you’re unable to make the live chat on June 15. However, for those who miss the chat entirely, a transcript of the event will be posted to the site in article form immediately following its conclusion.

In addition, bass-fishing fans who missed out on any previous FLW Live Reel Chats can find links to their full transcripts here.

FLWOutdoors.com will offer the FLW Live Reel Chat format continually, with regularly scheduled chats occurring after each FLW Tour event. Also, additional chats will be added throughout each month as anglers or fishing celebrities become available.
