Early reports from Pickwick Lake suggest the fish are biting, with a lot of early limits being caught. However, finding the right kind of fish to bump a limit from the “teens” into the “20s” has been a challenge.

Most of the best community holes are heavily pressured. Pros are fishing in packs. But, that’s just one of the challenges that must be overcome en route to a Walmart FLW Tour victory.

Among the anglers on the Forrest Wood Cup bubble is Troy Morrow, who tries to steer this daredevil bass into the net.Rookie pro Richard Peek had a strong morning, with multiple 5-pound catches.
