FLW Series standout Ray Hanselman of Del Rio, Texas, who swept the 2015 Texas Division and FLW Series Championship, is auctioning off a guided fishing trip on Lake Amistad. All proceeds go to support the C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation. C.A.S.T. is a non-profit foundation that provides fishing and other outdoor activities for special needs, disabled and disadvantaged children, as well as for military personnel through the Take A Warrior Fishing program.

Hanselman, a longtime supporter of C.A.S.T., is a full-time guide on Amistad and one of the lake’s top sticks. He knows better than anyone how to find Amistad’s trophy largemouths, and its growing population of smallmouths.

If you or someone you know would like the chance to chase trophy Texas bass with the hottest hand in bass fishing, while at the same time helping special needs children, here’s the chance.

Jim Behnken of the C.A.S.T for Kids Foundation will oversee the bidding. The trip will be for one full day on the lake for the winner and a companion. To participate, email the amount of your bid to [email protected]. Bidding will end on Friday, Dec. 11 at 5 p.m. CST.

The high bidder will pay the full donation amount directly to the C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation and will receive a receipt for his or her tax deductible contribution. The high bidder and Hanselman will then select a mutually agreeable date to fish together.
