COLUMBIA, S.C. – There’s no other way to put it, Jonathon VanDam landed on ’em right after “lines in” on Sunday morning, taking just 13 minutes to stack his first limit that weighed 18 pounds, 3 ounces. By the end of Group A’s Qualifying Day 1, he upgraded his limit to 21-14, never letting go of the lead.
Now, VanDam will return to Lake Murray for Group A’s Qualifying Day 2, where he’ll likely make the Knockout Round of Fox Rent A Car Stage Three Presented by Mercury.
