Season-opening event on Lake Martin rescheduled due to snow, potentially hazardous conditions

The BFL Bama Division season opener on Lake Martin scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 13, has been moved to Sunday, Feb. 14 due to the impending impact of a Friday night snowstorm moving through the area. In addition, local weather models are predicting hazardous driving conditions over the next several hours which could impede Friday and early Saturday travel for many members of the tournament field.

FLW Outdoors officials have indicated that the move was made with the safety of anglers in mind.

As a result of the changes, tournament registration will now be held Saturday, Feb. 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Wind Creek State Park. The pre-tournament meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m.
