2016 Invitational Dates and Locations
Lake Norman and Norris Lake to host inaugural autumn Invitational season events
FLW recently announced the dates and locations for two all-new Walmart FLW Tour Invitational tournaments to be held in 2016. The two Invitational events will be held in addition to six regular-season Walmart FLW Tour events.

Sept. 15-17 – Lake Norman
Cornelius, N.C.
Hosted by Visit Lake Norman, Visit Charlotte and Mecklenburg County Parks & Recreation
Oct. 20-22 – Norris Lake
Clinton, Tenn.
Hosted by Anderson County Tourism Council
Details
Format: 3 days, cumulative weight
Entry fee: $4,000 per event
Field size: 125 pros (no co-anglers)
Qualification: Invites to join the field will go to the top 100 professionals in the 2016 FLW Tour Angler of the Year standings, the top five co-anglers in the 2016 FLW Tour Co-angler of the Year standings and the top four pros from the Angler of the Year standings in each of the five 2015 Rayovac FLW Series divisions. Co-anglers accepting invitations to compete in the Invitational tournaments will compete as pros.
Top prize: $100,000 to the winner, along with automatic qualification into the 2017 Forrest Wood Cup

FLW Tour Registration
Registration for the 2016 FLW Tour regular-season qualifiers is open for the top 100 pros and co-anglers from the 2015 FLW Tour, top 10 pros and co-anglers from each 2015 Rayovac FLW Series division, 2015 TBF National Championship boater and co-angler winners, and 2015 BFL All-American boater and co-angler winners.
These anglers have until Nov. 30, 2015 to secure their priority entry. Ranger boat owners may register beginning Dec. 1, 2015, followed by TBF members on Dec. 3, 2015. All other entries will be accepted beginning Dec. 4, 2015.
