KIDS: Free Tackle, Fishing Derby at Lake Minnetonka

Join FLW and Evinrude on Sept. 22

Evinrude and FLW are hosting a free Kid’s Fishing Derby at Lake Minnetonka in the Minneapolis, Minn., area on Sept. 22. The event will run in conjunction with Evinrude’s Edge Demo Tour, where boaters and anglers can test drive the Evinrude E-TEC G2 outboard.

The Kid’s Fishing Derby will run from 9-11 a.m. at Lord Fletcher’s Old Lake Lodge at 3746 Sunset Drive in Spring Park. The first 50 kids ages 5-12 receive a free Kid Casters rod-and-reel combo, and free bait will be provided by DMF Bait Co. for all participants.

Fishing experience and equipment are not required. A crew of FLW Ambassadors has volunteered to assist all participants and provide loaner equipment.
