Mercury Marine to expand headquarters

Mercury Marine has announced that it launched a $20 million expansion of its headquarters and outboard engine factory located in Fond du Lac, Wis. The expansion is the result of the decision three years ago to move operations from the Stillwater, Okla., plant up to Wisconsin.
Mercury has added 950 jobs to the Fond du Lac community since moving work from Stillwater to Wisconsin. The company is also looking to fill around 30 more manufacturing jobs.
Manufacturing, engineering, and product testing for stern-drive engines are all taking place in Fond du Lac now.
