Walmart FLW Tour co-angler Bryan New, the winner of the 2013 Walmart FLW Tour event on Lake Eufaula, signed a sponsorship agreement with Shane Bait’s, an upstart tackle company owned by former FLW College Fishing standout Shane Lehew, who is embarking on his rookie FLW Tour season.

“I am really excited about this opportunity to work with Shane’s Baits,” said New, who also finished fourth at the 2013 Forrest Wood Cup. “I have been using an umbrella rig they make called Blades of Glory in local tournaments for the past month and have finished second, first, first and first – mostly on that rig.”

While umbrella rigs are no longer permitted in FLW Tour competition, New believes regional and recreational anglers will enjoy the products.
