Old Spice pro Greg Bohannan is auctioning off a one-day fishing trip to a west Arkansas lake to benefit the C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation. All bids must be submitted by Facebook message by 5 p.m. CT on Friday, March 10.
“I’ve been very fortunate to be able to live my dream by fishing professionally,” says Bohannan. “Now I’m asking others to help make somebody else’s dream come true – namely, the boys and girls who seldom have the opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy the wonderful fishing we all have.”
Bohannan says the winning bidder will have a choice of fishing Beaver Lake, Swepco or any of the Bella Vista lakes. Bohannan notes that the winner will be contacted to determine the best day to go fishing.
The C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation (castforkids.org) is a non-profit organization that provides fishing opportunities and outdoor activities for children with special needs, or who are disabled or disadvantaged. The Foundation also supports the Take a Warrior Fishing Program for military personnel.
The highest bidder for the fishing trip with Bohannan will be asked to pay the full amount directly to C.A.S.T. The complete amount is tax-deductible, as the Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
“Please be generous,” adds Bohannan. “We’ll raise money for a great cause and have a great day on the water.”
