FLW Tour pro Clayton Batts has signed a sponsorship deal with the Go Fish Education Center in Perry, Georgia. The Center’s facilities, programs and outreach directly support the mission to promote and enhance boating and fishing tourism in Georgia and to boost economic development in communities across the state.
“I really enjoy spending time with kids and sharing my passion for the outdoors,” Batts says. “The Go Fish Center is a great educational resource for anglers of all skill sets. It showcases all that Georgia’s lakes and rivers have to offer, and this is due to the hard work the Georgia Department of National Resources puts into stocking programs and maintaining the quality of our fisheries.”
“We’re real excited to work with Clayton [Batts], he’s going to help us reach some new audiences and increase awareness and visitation,” says Scott Robinson, Director of the Go Fish Education Center. “Along with some great educational programs, we have over 200,000 gallons of aquariums to showcase Georgia’s fish and aquatic resources.”
As a part of an outdoor education program, the Go Fish Center offers a host of fun activities that teach people about fishing.
“We think working with Clayton [Batts] is going to be a perfect match,” Robinson continues. “He’s going to bring more people to the center, recruit new anglers as well as improve the skills of our existing anglers.”
