Corbin fished Barkley Lake using a spinnerbait around wood to land his winning weight. Second place and $2114 went to Shawn Penn of Benton, Kentucky, who landed four bass weighing 11 pounds, 11 ounces. Penn fished south Barkley using a 3/8 ounce U. S. Tackle jig in a green/pumkin color. Penn was flipping wood in 4-5 feet of water.

Chuck Kasinger of Owensboro, KY, won the Abu Garcia Big Bass Award of $1,000 for a 7 pound, 13 ounce bass. Kasinger caught the bass on a Carolina-rigged Zoom lizard, pumkinseed color.
Kelly Brooks of Henderson, KY is leading the LBL Division Ranger Millennium big bass race for the year.
