Fire update: FLW Outdoors headquarters to reopen Thursday

BFL registration deadlines extended; new phone number available to contact FLW Outdoors

FLW Outdoors headquarters based in Gilbertsville, Ky., will reopen for business at a temporary location starting at 8 a.m. CST Thursday, May 30. Office personnel will be available to process tournament registrations and membership applications.

The main FLW Outdoors office was closed due to a fire Tuesday morning. No one was injured in the blaze.

Starting Thursday, FLW Outdoors will have a new main phone number: (270) 527-4125. This number will continue to be the main FLW Outdoors phone number when the company moves into its new office complex this fall. Also, a new fax number will be available Thursday, May 30.

As a result of the fire, six Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League priority registration deadlines were missed Tuesday, May 28. These deadlines will be extended until 5 p.m. Monday, June 3:

– Bulldog Division – West Point Lake / Southern Harbor
– Carolina Division – Lake Wateree / Clear Water Cove
– Choo Choo Division – Lake Neely Henry / Riverside Docks
– LBL Division – Kentucky / Barkley lakes / Moors Marina
– Mississippi Division – Lake Ferguson / Washington St. Ramp
– Okie Division – Grand Lake / Red 11 Port

These tournaments, all scheduled for Saturday, June 15, will take place as planned. There are no changes to any tournament schedules. The only change is the extension of the priority deadline to register for the June 15 BFL tournaments (see above).

Please be patient as you might encounter a busy signal when dialing the new FLW Outdoors phone number, (270) 527-4125. Starting Thursday, office personnel will have just 10 telephone lines to receive calls. We will have a full complement of phone lines by Monday, June 3.

As always, you can register for a tournament or membership online at FLWOutdoors.com. Our Web site has not been affected by the fire and all online registrations are being processed. There is no need to call and confirm if you have registered online.

Again, we thank you for your patience as we undergo these changes.
