2001 Cowboys star rookie, former Cowboys great, fantasy football expert and female angler to be featured Sunday
MINNEAPOLIS – FLW Outdoors’ Sunday radio show on Fox Sports Radio 1190 AM will discuss a wide range of topics from football to fishing. Guests will include Dallas Cowboys cornerback Jason Bell, three-time Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl player Tony Casillas, fantasy football expert Brady Tinker and pro angler Karen Savik.
Beginning at 10 a.m. CST Aug. 25, “FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart” hosts Keith Lebowitz and Travis Smith will discuss a variety of sports- and outdoor-related issues with a full lineup of noted guests.
Bell, a graduate of UCLA and returning cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys, secured his place on the 2002 roster with 21 special teams tackles – the most by an NFL rookie in 2001. Casillas won the Lombardi Award in 1985 for being an outstanding lineman with the University of Oklahoma’s football team. He went on to a successful NFL career, highlighted by three Super Bowl appearances with the Cowboys in the ’90s.
Tinker, a fantasy football guru who has hosted shows on Fox Sport Net and golf events on the USA Network, will share his insight into who’s hot and who’s not in the world of fantasy football. Savik, a Land O’Lakes pro from St. Louis Park, Minn., became a professional angler in 1995. Two years later, she became the first woman to win a professional fishing tournament in Minnesota. Today, Savik is one of about a dozen female anglers to fish the upper ranks of FLW Outdoors’ bass-fishing circuits. When she isn’t fishing, she finds time to be a wife, mother, businesswoman and outdoor guide.
