Sunday program dissects Texas bass club, Cowboys matchup, Ryder Cup
DALLAS – This week “FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart” will fish for tips about bass-fishing hot spots in the Lone Star state, discuss the Cowboys’ Sunday matchup, talk with a former Minnesota Vikings head coach and take a closer look at Sunday’s Ryder Cup upset.
Derek Stratton, Great Texas Bass Club’s general manager, will dish out valuable information; Dennis Green, former Vikings leader and current FLW Outdoors TV personality, will talk about his transition from Sundays on the turf to Sundays on the water; Cowboys.com writer Nick Eatman will share his insights; and David Feherty, CBS’s top golf commentator, will offer his analysis.
Beginning Sunday at 10 a.m. CST, hosts Keith Lebowitz and Travis Smith will discuss the 2002 NFC East season as well as a variety of sports- and outdoor-related issues with their noted guests.
Stratton, general manager of the club that brings anglers to well-stocked and wide-open waters, will tell about the numerous fishing locations that are exclusively available to members and will share fishing stories about the Great Texas Bass Club. Feherty, a 1991 European Ryder Cup team member and long-time analyst, will dissect the Ryder Cup collapse, which left the United States forfeiting the win to Europe. Radio show regular Eatman will be back to give his breakdown of Dallas’ Sunday home game against the New York Giants.
