Ranger Cup Walleye makes first payout

FLIPPIN, Ark. – The inaugural season for the Ranger Cup Walleye program is near its completion with the Wal-Mart RCL Walleye Championship in full swing. The Ranger Cup Walleye program tracked the finishes of Ranger Cup participants fishing the pro side of regular season tournaments in the RCL and PWT circuits. Ranger Cup Walleye pays out more than $30,000 in cash and prizes to the top five Ranger Cup Walleye participants.

The Ranger Cup Walleye winners are as follows:

1) Pete Harsh, Sauk Centre, Minn., special Ranger Cup Edition 620VS with matching Ranger Trail Trailer, boat cover and champion jacket
2) Todd Riley, Amery, Wis., $5,000
3) Eric Naig, Cylinder, Iowa, $4,000
4) Tim Minnema, Markesan, Wis., $3,000
5) Ron Gazvoda, Lakewood, Colo., $1,500

The Ranger Cup, since its beginning, has awarded more than $850,000 in cash and prizes to qualified Ranger Boat owners fishing the pro divisions of leading tournament circuits nationwide. Anyone owning a new or used Ranger boat and meeting clothing and decal requirements is eligible to compete in the cash contingency program.
