RICHMOND, Va. – Virginia Governor Mark Warner and FLW Outdoors, the world’s leading marketer of competitive fishing, will host a joint news conference and luncheon at the Greater Richmond Convention Center on Thursday to announce the selection of Richmond, Va., as host site for the inaugural $1.5 million Jacobs Cup world championship of bass fishing and outdoor show. The winner of the Jacobs Cup will be awarded $500,000, the largest guaranteed award in the sport’s history.
