EverStart co-angler to recount story of record-breaking bass caught on Sam Rayburn Reservoir
DALLAS – This Sunday “FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart” hosts Keith Lebowitz and Travis Smith will broadcast live from Dallas Market Hall during the Dallas winter boat show.
Lebowitz and Smith will be anchored in a Ranger boat where they will talk with the winner of the EverStart Series Central Division tournament taking place this week on Sam Rayburn Reservoir in Texas. EverStart Series co-angler Jeary Wheeler of Batesville, Ark., who caught a record-breaking bass during the tournament, will also be featured on the show.
The EverStart Series tournament will be decided Saturday afternoon, and the winning pro will take home more than $60,000 in cash and prizes. The winner of the prestigious event will share his experience with “FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart” listeners and explain what it took to win. Wheeler, a second-year co-angler in the EverStart Series, caught the heaviest bass of his life Thursday and set a new EverStart Series record. He will tell listeners what it was like to catch the monster 12-pound, 11-ounce bass on his last cast of the day.
“FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart” is broadcast throughout Texas and parts of Oklahoma every Sunday from 10 a.m. until noon CST on Fox Sports 1190 AM KFXR in Dallas.
