Kentucky Dam bass tournament to benefit military families
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – There’s still time to register for the May 18 Stratos Boats charity bass tournament to benefit families of the 101st Airborne soldiers. The entry deadline for the event, to take place at Kentucky Dam State Park Marina, is May 9.
All proceeds from the two-man team event, entitled “Tribute to the Troops,” will benefit the soldiers assigned to Ft. Campbell, Ky., and their families. The entry fee is $200 per team, and the first-place prize is a fully rigged Stratos boat valued at $19,000.
An entry form and tournament rules are provided online. Anglers interested in participating should print out the entry form, fill it in and mail it to the designated address or call Kristi Driver at (615) 494-2081.
