Program to feature pro angler Chip Harrison
DALLAS – On this Sunday’s edition of “FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart,” hosts Keith Lebowitz and Tony Casillas will talk with pro angler Chip Harrison of Bremen, Ind. The crew will also catch up with Shane Halter, shortstop for the Detroit Tigers, and Ray Childress, former defensive lineman for the Houston Oilers and Dallas Cowboys. Wrapping up the show will be regular guest Nick Eatman, a DallasCowboys.com writer.
Harrison ranked 33rd in 2003 Wal-Mart FLW Tour points standings to earn a trip to the Wal-Mart FLW Tour Championship presented by Castrol, the most lucrative championship in the history of bass fishing. Harrison is an eight-year veteran of the FLW Tour and has five career top-10 finishes in various FLW Outdoors tournament trails. The Wal-Mart FLW Tour World Championship of Bass Fishing and Outdoor Show will take place Sept. 10-13 on the James River in Richmond, Va., and the winning pro will take home $500,000 cash. On Sunday, Harrison will talk about his strategy for the big event when he fishes against some of the world’s top anglers. Halter, who grew up in Texas and has fished a fair amount of the state’s great lakes, will talk about his fishing and hunting adventures.
Turning to football, Lebowitz and Casillas will talk with Childress, who participated in the National Football League’s Pro Bowl five times during his career and currently is a minority owner of the Houston Texans expansion football team. Childress will talk about being a team owner versus a player and will also talk about his passion for the outdoors. Eatman will give a Dallas Cowboys update regarding the quarterback pick that will be decided this week and what impact that will have on the team.
