Ranger pro-staff guide to talk about Texas hot spots for big bass

DALLAS – This week on “FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart,” the crew will talk fishing with Ranger pro-staff guide David Vance. Hosts Keith Lebowitz and Tony Casillas, along with regular guest DallasCowboys.com writer Nick Eatman, will also give an extensive preview of the Cowboys’ Sunday game against the Arizona Cardinals. Rounding out the guest list on the show will be last Sunday’s PGA Texas Open winner, Tommy Armour III.

On Sunday, the Cowboys host the Cardinals, the new team of ex-Cowboy Emmitt Smith. Smith set an NFL record as the Cowboys running back with the third-highest career rushing yards in the league during his 13 seasons with the team, and Sunday’s game will mark his first return to his former home field. Armour, who set the PGA Tour 72-hole scoring record with last Sunday’s victory, won the Open by a seven-shot margin. The grandson of three-time major champion Tommy Armour of Scotland, Armour had won only once before on tour, at the 1990 Phoenix Open. He will talk about being back in the winner’s circle, being only the fourth player over 40 to win on the circuit and his future on the PGA Tour. Vance, known as one of the best guides in Texas, will give a fishing update for Lake Fork, the hottest bass-fishing lake in Texas.

“FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart” is broadcast throughout Texas and parts of Oklahoma every Sunday from 8-10 a.m. Central time on Fox Sports 1190 AM KFXR in Dallas. The show is also available via the World Wide Web through an “FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart” link provided by FLWOutdoors.com. Each week listeners can tune in for a live fishing report from Rush Holson. Listeners who would like to ask a question of any show guest can e-mail the question to [email protected].
