FLW Outdoors radio gears up for 2004 Wal-Mart FLW Tour season
DALLAS – The Wal-Mart FLW Tour kicks off next week on Florida’s Lake Okeechobee, and “FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart” hosts Keith Lebowitz and Tony Casillas will preview the event with their guests. Legendary fishing pro and “FLW Outdoors” television host Hank Parker will be on the show. The duo will also talk fishing with Ranger pro-staff guide David Vance, who will give his weekly fishing update. Also joining the show will be PGA Tour pro and Dallas native Scott Verplank.
Parker will talk about the tournament and the upcoming pro bass-fishing season. He will also share with listeners what will be coming up on “FLW Outdoors,” which airs on the Outdoor Life Network. Keith and Tony will also give their predictions on who will advance to the FLW Tour Championship in August. Vance, known as one of the best guides in Texas, will give an update about Lake Fork and some tips no angler should go without.
Verplank, who has competed on the PGA Tour since 1986, has had four wins on the tour and was ranked 19th on the 2003 money list with more than $2.3 million in winnings last season. Verplank will talk about life on the PGA Tour and how he has remained competitive throughout his 17-year career.
“FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart” is broadcast throughout Texas and parts of Oklahoma every Sunday from 8-10 a.m. Central time on Fox Sports 1190 AM KFXR in Dallas.
