DALLAS – This week on “FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart,” hosts Keith Lebowitz and Tony Casillas will talk with NASCAR driving sensation Ryan Newman. Turning to football, Casillas will report live from the Super Bowl taking place in Houston, and the FLW radio duo will talk to Houston Texans owner Ray Childress and his wife, who are coordinating celebrations before and after the big game. Also on the show will be “FLW Outdoors” television host Carlton Wing.
Newman, who was the 2002 Cup Series Rookie of the Year, was unstoppable in his sophomore season with a series-leading 11 first-place starts and eight wins. The Purdue University graduate will talk about his racing career, which does not appear to be slowing down anytime soon. Childress, who was a five-time NFL Pro Bowler with the Houston Oilers, will talk about the Texans and what they need to do to have a winning season next year. He and his wife will also share Super Bowl stories.
Wing, who was in Clewiston, Fla., last week for the Wal-Mart FLW Tour event on Lake Okeechobee, will talk about the FLW Tour pro bass-fishing season, the upcoming TV show and the championship slated to take place in Birmingham, Ala., in August.
