DALLAS – This Sunday on “FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart,” hosts Keith Lebowitz and Tony Casillas hit the road to broadcast live from the Nashville, Tenn. – the nation’s country music capital. The show will be in town for the Wal-Mart FLW Tour event taking place on Old Hickory Lake March 11-14. Country music superstar Andy Griggs, who performed last year at the Wal-Mart Open, will be at the store with Lebowitz and Casillas. Also joining the show will be country music sensation Brad Paisley. Team Castrol pro David Dudley of Manteo, N.C., and pro Sean Hoernke of Euless, Texas, will also be live on the show.
The show will air live from the Nashville, Tenn., Wal-Mart Supercenter located at 7044 Charlotte Pike.
Griggs broke into the country scene in 1999 with his gold-selling debut album, “You Won’t Ever Be Lonely.” In 2002 he released his much-anticipated sophomore effort, “Freedom.” Paisley, a native of Glen Dale, W. Va., made waves in the world of country music and fishing with his hit “I’m Gonna Miss Her.” The successful recording artist, who performed at the Wal-Mart Open in 2002, will talk about his love of fishing and his latest album, “Mud on the Tires.”
One of the Wal-Mart FLW Tour’s best-known anglers, Dudley is recognized for his big wins, including the lucrative Ranger M1 tournament, from which he took home the top prize of $700,000 cash in 2002, and the 2003 FLW Tour Championship, where he earned a first-place check for $500,000. Dudley finished the 2003 FLW Tour season in second place and is currently ranked 32nd. The pro will talk about this year’s tour and what it is going to take for him to land on top again.
Hoernke, who is currently ranked ninth, is in his first full season on the FLW Tour. The Texas native has won two tournaments and earned more than $37,000 in FLW Outdoors events. He will talk about how he plans to stay in the top 10 for the remainder of the season and what lies ahead on tour.
“FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart” is broadcast throughout Texas and parts of Oklahoma every Sunday from 8-10 a.m. Central time on Fox Sports 1190 AM KFXR in Dallas.
