WATERTOWN, Minn. – Ranger Boats powered by Evinrude Motors will present a free children’s fishing clinic prior to the “On the Water” demonstrations at Devils Lake, N.D., on May 29.

Spirit Lake Casino Marina, located at 7889 Highway 20/57 in Spirit Lake, N.D., will be the host on Saturday, May 29 starting with the children’s fishing clinic at 9 a.m. Children will have the opportunity to visit firsthand with several Evinrude and Ranger professional anglers. Anglers will demonstrate different fishing techniques and visit about what type of lures and bait they used while fishing Devils Lake the prior week. Parents are encouraged to bring along cameras to take photos of their children with the professional anglers and their boat-and-motor packages. Autographs will be available also.

Starting at 10 a.m. participants will have an opportunity to water test the Ranger boats powered by Evinrude motors. Representatives from both companies will be available to answer questions regarding the Evinrude and Ranger products. Participants may register for door prizes until 2 p.m. when the demonstrations will conclude. All prizes will be awarded at the final Wal-Mart RCL Walleye Tour event weigh-in held at the Wal-Mart store located at 210 Highway 2 W. in Devils Lake beginning at 3 p.m.

The community is encouraged to attend all the free activities associated with the four-day tournament. Spirit Lake Casino and Resort will host the RCL Tour event with daily takeoffs at 7 a.m. each day. Wednesday and Thursday’s weigh-ins will also be held there beginning at 3 p.m., and Friday and Saturday’s weigh-ins will be held at the Devils Lake Wal-Mart beginning at 3 p.m. The community is encouraged to attend daily takeoffs and weigh-ins.
