DALLAS – On “FLW Radio” this week, it’s all about fishing. Host Keith Lebowitz is joined by native Texans Craig Workman, a recent EverStart Series winner, and David Vance, a renowned fishing guide, as well as FLW pro John Crews on this week’s show.

Workman, coming off his recent victory at the 2004 Everstart Series Northern Division finale on New York’s Lake Champlain, speaks about his winning strategy in overcoming the final day’s windy, gloomy conditions. Flipping a Texas-rigged brush hog along grass lines in 8 to 14 feet of murky water, the Fort Worth native caught five keepers in 45 minutes and eventually culled out his limit to 17 pounds Saturday. Added to the 15 pounds, 9 ounces he posted Friday, he finished with 32-9 in the final round, good enough for his second tournament victory.

Crews is a veteran FLW angler who has fished in 84 tournaments since 1995. The Jetersville, Va., native has five top-10 tournament finishes and career earnings of over $133,776.

A regular guest on “FLW Radio,” Vance offers his angling expertise as a Lake Fork guide. Vance is generally regarded as one of the top bass-fishing guides in the state of Texas. He specializes in the technical aspects of angling such as depth and presentation. As a Ranger Boat driver, Vance also passes along some boating tips, as well.

“FLW Radio,” which is presented by Wal-Mart, is broadcast throughout Texas and parts of Oklahoma every Sunday from 10-11 a.m. Central time and is rebroadcast every Monday from midnight-1 a.m. on 105.3 FM in Dallas. For those outside the Texas and Oklahoma markets who do not have KLLI 105.3 FM available to them, shows are made available on demand at FLWOutdoors.com.
