The National Guard FLW College Fishing circuit will hold its second Southeast Division event of the season May 2 on Santee Cooper lakes in Manning, S.C.
The takeoff and weigh-in, scheduled for 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time, respectively, will take place May 2 at John C. Land III Landing, located in Summerton, S.C., on County Road S-14-260 (Greenall Road). The takeoff and weigh-in are free to attend and open to the public.
FLW College Fishing is the country’s largest tournament-fishing competition for college bass clubs, where they compete for lucrative scholarships and prizes and a chance to compete in the 2010 Forrest Wood Cup in 2010.
Registered teams include Coastal Carolina, Miami Dade College, UT Chattanooga, Clemson University, University of Georgia, Freed-Hardeman University, Mississippi State, UT Martin, South Alabama, Florida Gulf Coast, UAB, Middle Tennessee State, University of Tennessee, Auburn University, Columbus State University, Georgia Southern, Kennesaw State University, Faulkner University, Southern Mississippi, South Carolina, The Citadel, USF, University of Mississippi, University of Florida, North Greenville, North Florida, USC Upstate, University of Montevallo, GCSU, University of Tampa and Tennessee Tech.
