The National Guard FLW College Fishing circuit will stage its third Southeast Division event of the season June 6 on Wheeler Lake in Decatur, Ala.

The takeoff and weigh-in, scheduled for 6:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Central time, respectively, will take place June 6 at Ingalls Harbor located at 802 Wilson St. N.W. in Decatur. The takeoff and weigh-in are free to attend and open to the public.

National Guard FLW College Fishing is the country’s largest tournament fishing competition for college bass clubs where college clubs compete for lucrative scholarships and prizes and a chance to compete in the 2010 Forrest Wood Cup in 2010.

Registered teams include Athens State University, Auburn University, Austin Peay, Clemson University, Coastal Carolina, Columbus State University, Delta State University, Faulkner University, Florida Gulf Coast, Freed-Hardeman University, Georgia Southern, Kennesaw State University, Middle Tennessee State, Mississippi State, North Alabama, North Florida, North Greenville, South Alabama, South Carolina, Southern Mississippi, Tennessee Tech, The Citadel, University of Alabama, University of Florida, University of Georgia, University of Mississippi, University of Montevallo, University of Tampa, University of Tennessee, UAB, USC Upstate, USF, UT-Chattanooga, UT-Martin and Webber.
