Boater Josh Busby of Rogersville, Mo., caught a five-bass limit weighing 16 pounds, 3 ounces Saturday to win $3,113 plus a $2,000 Ranger Cup bonus in the BFL Ozark Division tournament on Truman Lake.

Boater Josh Busby of Rogersville, Mo., caught a five-bass limit weighing 16 pounds, 3 ounces Saturday to win $3,113 plus a $2,000 Ranger Cup bonus in the FLW BFL Ozark Division tournament on Truman Lake. Busby was fishing near the dam with a 10-inch worm on a Carolina rig to catch his limit.

Rounding out the top 10 boaters:

2nd: Larry Egidy, Warsaw, Mo., four bass, 11-4, $1,557

3rd: Jason Perrego, Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., five bass, 10-9, $2,037*

4th: Dennis Berhorst, Holts Summit, Mo., four bass, 10-5, $726

5th: Chris Savoie, Topeka, Kan., three bass, 9-10, $623

6th: Jim Eakin, Plato, Mo., three bass, 9-2, $571

7th: Nathan Poindexter, Midwest City, Okla., three bass, 8-13, $519

8th: Marcus Sykora, Osage Beach, Mo., three bass, 8-11, $467

9th: Greg Poindexter, Bolivar, Mo., four bass, 8-2, $415

Donald Pailer of Arnold, Mo., earned $1,557 as the Co-angler Division winner on Truman Lake. Donald Pailer of Arnold, Mo., caught three bass weighing 6 pounds, 11 ounces to win $1,557 in the Co-angler Division on Truman Lake. Pailer was finesse-fishing with a green-pumpkin worm eight miles from takeoff to haul in his winning sack.

Coming up

The next and last BFL Ozark Division tournament for 2010 is scheduled for Sept. 25-26, a Super Tournament at Table Rock Lake in Branson, Mo. After that tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Oct. 14-16 Regional Championship at Lake Texoma in Denison Texas, where boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger 198VX with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
