Boater John Hopkins of Hendersonville, Tenn., caught four bass weighing 14 pounds, 15 ounces June 11 to win $2,985 in the Walmart BFL Music City Division tournament on Old Hickory Lake. Hopkins was using a 3/4-ounce green-pumpkin-candy Hoppy’s Stroker Jig along ledges in 8 to 12 feet of water.

Timmy Gribbins of Lebanon, Ky., earned $1,493 as co-angler winner of the June 11 BFL Music City event.

Timmy Gribbins of Lebanon, Ky., caught a five-bass limit weighing 14 pounds, 6 ounces to win $1,493 in the Co-angler Division. He was using a green-pumpkin Booza Bug in the midlake area catch his limit.

Coming up

The next BFL Music City Division tournament is scheduled for Oct. 1-2 on Old Hickory Lake in Gallatin, Tenn. After the fifth Music City Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Oct. 20-22 Regional Championship on Lake Chickamauga in Chattanooga, Tenn. Boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger 198VX with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard and a Chevy pick-up, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
