Lowery nets BFL Super Tourney win on West Point Lake
Milner grabs co-angler title
Boater David Lowery of Milledgeville, Ga., caught a two day total of 10 bass weighing 25 pounds, 6 ounces Sept. 17-18 to win $4,882 plus a $2,000 Ranger Cup bonus in the Walmart BFL Bulldog Division Super Tournament on West Point Lake. Lowery used a combination of buzzbaits and All Terrain jigs in rocky areas and in shallow woody spots to land the majority of his catch.

Joel Milner of Talbotton, Ga., caught a two day total of seven bass weighing 14 pounds, 12 ounces Sept. 17-18 to win $2,441 in the Co-angler Division. Milner used buzzbaits and topwater crankbaits in backs of pockets to catch his bass.

The top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers based on point standings in the Bulldog Division have now qualified for the Oct. 13-15 Regional Championship on Wheeler Lake in Decatur, Ala. Boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger 198VX with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard and a Chevy pick-up, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
