A group of Walmart FLW Tour pros put down their fishing rods Wednesday in exchange for bobsled helmets and the chance to live an Olympic experience.

Some of the Tour’s top pros headed up to Lake Placid on their day off before the kickoff of the final tourney of the regular season on Lake Champlain, taking place in upstate New York. Teaming up with the Bo-Dyn bobsled project (www.bodynbobsled.com), the anglers learned how 1986 Daytona 500 winner Geoff Bodine and the Bo-Dyn Project improved the sport of bobsledding by building bobsleds based on NASCAR technology.

Each angler had the opportunity to ride the half-mile bobsled Olympic track, see the Wet `n’ Wild freestyle skiing show, and a meet and greet with fans and press while visiting the Olympic site in the Adirondack Mountains of FLW Tour pros had a chance to take Olympic bobsled rides at Lake Placid the day before the kickoff of the Lake Champlain tourney in upstate New York.upstate New York.
