PITTSBURGH – Fishing fans from across the world will be entertained at the Forrest Wood Cup presented by BP and Castrol by country music star Eric Church. Church will perform courtesy of Chevy before the final weigh-in on Sunday, Aug. 2 at 4 p.m. at Mellon Arena. The event is free and open to the public.

Church has quickly established himself in the music industry and his current hit “Love Your Love the Most” off his 2009 album “Carolina,” made the Billboard Hot 100 list. “Love Your Love the Most” and “Smoke a Little Smoke,” have both made Billboard’s Hot Country Songs list.

Church’s first album, “Sinners Like Me,” featured three songs making the charts: “Guys Like Me,” How `Bout You” and “Sinners Like Me.”

Church has also proven that he knows competitive fishing as well. At a recent tournament, he and his partner took top prize at the Porter Wagoner Memorial Artists & Anglers Fishing Tournament on J. Percy Priest Lake in Nashville, with more than 18 pounds of bass.
