Two hundred and seventy anglers to be eliminated after today’s EverStart Central Division competition on Kentucky Lake

GILBERTSVILLE, Ky. – Although anglers were once again treated to a beautiful sunrise and gorgeous weather conditions at the start of takeoff shortly after 6 a.m., the fate of many fishermen today will be that of a cold and uncomfortable finality. With only the top 30 anglers scheduled to advance to the next round in each division, there is little room for error. For the anglers who are currently atop the Pro and Co-Angler Divisions, there may be a little bit of a respite on the calm waters of Kentucky Lake. However, for the rest of the field, the competition will be intense. After all, their very survival is on the line.

Today’s weigh-in is scheduled to take place at 3 p.m. at Moors Resort located on Moors Camp Road in Gilbertsville, Ky.

Temperature at takeoff: 59 degrees
