MANNING, S.C. – Day three began this morning as the top 20 pros and co-anglers took off onto Lake Marion for semifinal-round action at the third $210,000 EverStart Series Eastern Division tournament of the season.

Temperatures have risen slightly for Friday’s fishing and it remains cloudy. It remains to be seen if the warmer conditions will have much of an affect on the bass bite. Competitors’ overall catch weights were down slightly yesterday – by a total of over 400 pounds for the entire field – following Wednesday’s blockbuster effort, but temperatures were cooler.

Friday weigh-in will be held at the Wal-Mart Supercenter located at 481 West Boyce Street in Manning starting at 4 p.m. The four-day tournament ends Saturday, when the pro winner will receive $15,000 and a Ranger boat and the co-angler winner will receive $6,000.
