Okeechobee Fishing Headquarters is hosting a Nik Kayler Memorial Tournament on May 19 on Lake Okeechobee. The tournament begins at 5 a.m. at Okee-Tantee Campground and Marina in Okeechobee, Fla. All proceeds go to the family of co-angler Nik Kayler, who perished in an accident on the first day of the Costa FLW Series event on Lake Okeechobee in January.
In addition to the tournament, there will be a raffle, silent auction, 50/50 drawing, food and more at the lakeside venue, beginning around 1 p.m. The tournament weigh-in starts at 3. Raffle and silent auction items include fishing equipment, toys, women’s gifts, TVs, grills, coolers, fishing trips, a paddleboard and more.
