Those toolbox liners that absorb moisture so that tools won’t rust will also keep fish hooks from rusting, which is why I use them in my tackle boxes. I’ll cut out a piece to cover the whole lid of a Plano storage box, then cut out smaller pieces to go in the smaller compartments where I keep hooks or various lures. When I’m fishing and it starts sprinkling, or it’s just a misty morning, I don’t have to worry so much about the hooks or other metal parts of a lure getting a little wet and then start rusting. It’s a good idea to replace the liner about once a year.
