Degraffenreid fished south of Canadian River, using a white/chartreuse pinnerbait around rocks to catch his fish. Jeff Ransom of Muldrow, Oklahoma, used crankbaits in the mid-lake section to land five bass weighing 16 pounds, 5 ounces. He fished windy points in 4-6 feet of water.

Rounding out the top positions were: (3) Jamie Haines, Tulsa, OK, five bass, 15-11, $1390; (4) Tim Skelton, Spire, OK, five bass, 14-8, $890; (5) Kelly Jones, Oklahoma City, OK, five bass, 14-3, $844; (6) Nelson Scherrer, Festus, MO, five bass, 13-13, $781; (7) Ron Shaw, Moore, OK, five bass, 13-9, $657; (8 tie) Chuck Campbell, Okmulgee, OK, five bass, 13-8, $516; (8 tie) Kirk Washburn, Harrah, OK, five bass, 13-8, $516; (10) Johnny Tehee, Muskogee, OK, four bass, 13-6, $388.

Russ Morrow of Catoosa, Oklahoma, won the Abu Garcia Big Bass Award of $1,000 for an 8 pound bass.

Wayne Remington of Lincoln, Nebraska, is leading the division’s Ranger Millennium big bass race with a 6 pound, 4 ounce bass. The original Ranger boat owner who catches the largest bass in eacss race with a 6 pound, 4 ounce bass.
