Lipton Sides serves up FLW Outdoors sponsorship

MINNEAPOLIS – FLW Outdoors, the leading marketer of professional fishing, announced Monday that Lipton Sides will become the newest addition to its growing lineup of sponsors for the 2003 season. Lipton Sides will join other top-shelf brands that are leveraging professional fishing’s rising popularity.

The loyal consumers associated with professional fishing, totaling 55 million, comprise a significant market for the great-tasting and easy-to-make Lipton Sides, which are perfect for any outdoor event. Through a multiyear partnership with FLW Outdoors, Lipton Sides will gain exposure within this loyal group of consumers.

The partnership ensures that Lipton Sides will be visible along FLW Outdoors’ broad spectrum of tournament circuits, which include the $5.76 million Wal-Mart FLW Tour, the world’s most lucrative bass-tournament series; the $3.88 million EverStart Series, the pathway to the FLW Tour; the $6 million Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League for weekend anglers; the $1 million Wal-Mart Texas Tournament Trail and the $3.07 million Wal-Mart RCL Walleye Tour, the world’s most lucrative walleye-tournament series.

Lipton Sides will be participating in the Family Fun Zone events along the FLW Tour. Lipton Sides will also sponsor its own team member, Willie White of Powder Springs, Ga., who will fish the FLW Tour from a NASCAR-like Ranger boat bearing the company brand.
