Boater Greg Hirsch of Saint Jacob, Ill., caught a five-bass limit weighing 14 pounds, 15 ounces Saturday to win $3,337 in the FLW BFL Illini Division tournament on Lake Shelbyville. Hirsch was fishing secondary points in about 10 feet of water using Zoom Brush Hogs to reel in his stringer.

Kevin Doss of Windsor, Ill., caught a five-bass limit weighing 11 pounds, 5 ounces to win $1,668 in the Co-angler Division on Lake Shelbyville. He was fishing near Opossum Creek, using an 8-inch worm in 8 feet of water to sack his limit.

The next BFL Illini Division tournament is scheduled for July 17 at the Ohio River in Golconda, Ill. After the fifth Illini Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Oct. 7-9 Regional Championship at Lake Barkley in Kuttawa, Ky., where boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger 198VX with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
