Bryan Beard of Steele, Ala. caught a 5-bass limit weighing 20 pounds, 6 ounces Saturday to win $3,963 in the FLW BFL Bama Division tournament on Lake Neely Henry. With a backdrop of extremely high temperatures and humid conditions, Beard found success flipping a jig in about 1-3 feet of water.

Marquis nets co-angler title
Shawn Marquis of Columbus, Ga., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 13 pounds, 10 ounces Saturday, July 19, 2010 to win $1,981 in the FLW BFL Bama Co-angler Division on Lake Neely Henry. Marquis was using crankbaits in 12 feet of water mid lake to sack his limit.

The next and last BFL Bama Division tournament in 2010 is scheduled for Oct. 2-3, at Lake Guntersville in Guntersville, Ala. After the fifth Bama Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and co-anglers based on the 2010 point standings will qualify for the Regional Championship at Lake Seminole in Bainbridge, Ga., on Oct. 21-23, for a chance to win a 198VX Ranger boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
