GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – James Elam was the MVP during the second match of the semifinals at the Lucas Oil Qualifier Presented by B&W Trailer Hitches. Out of team Crockett Creek’s winning total of 74 bass weighing 132 pounds, 13 ounces, Elam contributed 75-9 with 38 fish. Now Elam, Matt Lee and team captain Johnathon VanDam are heading to the Bass Pro Shops Team Series Championship.

Team Sqwincher won’t be going home just yet. Dustin Connell, Cole Floyd and Roy Hawk placed second with 70 bass weighing 121-1 and secured a spot in the Wild Card round. Team Builders FirstSource (Zack Birge, Cliff Pace and Mark Rose) missed the cut by 10-7 with 74 bass weighing 110-11.

The MLF General Tire Team Series Lucas Oil Qualifier Presented by B&W Trailer Hitches will air on Outdoor Channel as six two-hour original episodes each Saturday afternoon starting Jan. 6, 2024, airing from 2-4 p.m. EDT.
