Spring usually signals the season of reruns in TV land, but not for fishing programs. “FLW Outdoors” on VERSUS Country and WFN is just getting warmed up for its 2010 season of original programming. The first show of the year – highlighting the FLW Series pro bass tournament on California’s Lake Shasta – will air Sunday at 12:30 p.m. Eastern.

Coming up

The month of April will bring mostly new “FLW Outdoors” shows to fishing fans worldwide, featuring many of the world’s most renowned bass pros competing on some of the nation’s most vaunted fisheries:

• April 4: FLW Series Western stop No. 1 – Lake Shasta, Redding, Calif.

• April 11: FLW Series Eastern stop No. 1 – Lake Okeechobee, Clewiston, Fla.

• April 18: FLW Tour stop No. 2 – Table Rock Lake, Branson, Mo. (stop No. 1 canceled)

• April 25: (Re-run) FLW Series Eastern stop No. 1 – Lake Okeechobee, Clewiston, Fla.

In addition to checking local listings, viewers are invited to take a look at the “FLW Outdoors” online TV schedule to see what shows are on the horizon. And if you miss any programs, keep checking back to the FLW OnDemand home page and select the “FLW TV” tab to watch full episodes online – for free and at your convenience.

In addition to coverage of the weigh-ins that can make the careers of bass-fishing pros, “FLW Outdoors” features on-the-water coverage, tips and techniques segments, closer looks at the lakes and communities that host events, and much more.
