The CBS Morning Show best described Hank Parker when introducing him as “the rod-n-reel answer to Michael Jordan, in popularity and talent.” A member of both the Bass Fishing and Legends of the Outdoors Halls of Fame, Parker knows both fish – and fishermen.
“There is no group of people more committed to healthy waters than anglers,” said Parker, “and that’s why I’m proud to partner with Recycled Fish to get anglers up to speed on everyday ways they can help our waters, since our lifestyle runs downstream.”
Kicking off the new partnership, Hank Parker Outdoors will run the We Are Stewards campaign on HankParker.com. Likewise, Recycled Fish has endorsed Parker and is featuring him on its website.
“Hank has demonstrated a passion for introducing kids to fishing for decades,” said Teeg Stouffer, Recycled Fish Executive Director. “It’s an honor to have a legend like Hank standing with us for ongoing education efforts to get anglers of all ages engaged and mobilized as stewards of our waters.”
Recycled Fish is the 501c3 non-profit organization of anglers living a lifestyle of stewardship both on and off the water, because our lifestyle runs downstream. We Are Stewards.
During his professional bass fishing career on the Bassmaster Tournament Trail Parker won the Bassmaster Classic in 1979 and 1989. His television show, “Hank Parker’s Outdoor Magazine,” in its 26th season, airs on NBC Sports Network and Pursuit Channel.
