FLW Outdoors radio to focus on upcoming Wal-Mart FLW Tour Championship
DALLAS – On this Sunday’s edition of “FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart,” hosts Keith Lebowitz and Tony Casillas will talk with Yamaha pro Terry Bolton, who finished the Wal-Mart FLW Tour regular season in 27th place to qualify for the FLW Tour Championship after a 54th-place finish last weekend on Alabama’s Wheeler Lake. Also joining the show to talk about the upcoming championship – scheduled for Sept. 10-13 on the James River in Richmond, Va. – will be Charlie Evans, FLW Outdoors’ executive vice president and co-host of “FLW Outdoors” on the Outdoor Life Network. Adding some country flair to the show will be country music superstar Toby Keith.
Bolton – who will fish against Chevrolet pro Kevin VanDam of Kalamazoo, Mich., in the first round of the championship – will talk about facing the famed pro as well as how he will prepare for the tournament, which offers a record-breaking first-place award of $500,000 cash. Evans will talk about this year’s season, the upcoming championship and what awaits anglers in 2004. Keith, who played semipro football with the Oklahoma City Drillers before becoming a platinum-selling recording artist, will talk about his explosive career and his love of sports.
“FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart” is broadcast throughout Texas and parts of Oklahoma every Sunday from 10 a.m. until noon Central time on Fox Sports 1190 AM KFXR in Dallas.
