Pro angler David Cooke looks toward FLW Tour Championship

DALLAS – On this Sunday’s edition of “FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart,” hosts Keith Lebowitz and Tony Casillas will talk with pro angler David Cooke of Mooresville, N.C., who will enter the Wal-Mart FLW Tour Championship seeded 29th. The crew will also catch up with Shane Spencer, outfielder for the Texas Rangers. Wrapping up the show will be regular guest Nick Eatman, a DallasCowboys.com writer.

Cooke, who has two top-10 finishes under his belt from his six seasons on the FLW Tour, will compete in the most lucrative championship in the history of bass fishing. The Wal-Mart FLW Tour World Championship of Bass Fishing and Outdoor Show will take place Sept. 10-13 on the James River in Richmond, Va., and the winning pro will take home $500,000 cash. On Sunday, Cooke will talk about gearing up for the big event and how he hopes to take home the largest check of his career. The multifaceted Spencer, who has taken home a check from an EverStart Series Western Division event, will talk about his passion for fishing and about his other love, baseball. Eatman will give a Dallas Cowboys update.
