Boater Dick Shaffer of Rockford, Ohio, caught a nine-bass total weighing 11 pounds, 9 ounces Oct. 2-3 to win $4,054 plus a $2,000 Ranger Cup bonus in the BFL Hoosier Division Super Tournament on the Ohio River.

Coming up

The next BFL Hoosier Division tournament, the Regional Championship, is scheduled for Oct. 21-23 on Kentucky Lake in Gilbertsville, Ky. The top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers from the Buckeye, Hoosier, Michigan and Great Lakes divisions have qualified for the Regional Championship, where the top six boaters and top six co-anglers will advance to the BFL All-American.
