GALLERY: Team Ferguson tops tight race at Semifinals Match 2 of Builders FirstSource Qualifier
LONGVIEW, Texas – One of the tightest races in the 2024 General Tire Team Series took place during Semifinals Match 2 of the Builders FirstSource Qualifier Presented by Berkley as all three teams finished within less than 10 pounds of each other.
Team Ferguson’s Keith Poche, Anthony Gagliardi and Stephen Browning earned a spot at the Bass Pro Shops Team Series Championship with 35 bass weighing 62 pounds, 13 ounces. Hot on their heels was second-place team Knighten Industries (Takahiro Omori, Dean Rojas and Michael Neal) with 32 bass weighing 59-12 followed by team Crockett Creek (Brandon Coulter, Ott DeFoe and Andy Montgomery) with 34 bass weighing 53 pounds even.
Team Knighten will get another chance at making the Championship when they face team Builders FirstSource (Gary Klein, Jesse Wiggins and Kyle Hall) in the Wild Card match. Meanwhile, team Crockett Creek is going home, having narrowly missed the cut by 6-13.
